About Me

Hi, I’m Jailyn Sanders — a 24-year-old wife, mama, doula, and childbirth educator who believes birth is meant to be holy, peaceful, and full of Jesus.

I’ve always been fascinated by pregnancy and birth, but it wasn’t until I walked through my baby’s birth that I realized something deeper: birth isn’t just something you go through. It’s an opportunity to become more like Jesus. It’s a place where sanctification is chosen over comfort, where you become more dependent on God, and where the process changes more than just your body — it softens your heart and deepens your faith.

I prayed for a quick, pain-free birth… and instead found myself laboring much longer than expected and experiencing pain.

But my birth was also FULL of answered prayers — full of God, full of purpose, full of His presence.

While processing my birth story in counseling and sitting with Jesus, He gave me a new understanding of His sacrifice — how Jesus died on the Cross so we could live, and how birth can be a place where we share in a small part of that so our baby can have life too.

It deepened my understanding of Jesus in a way nothing else had.

Birth isn’t just something you “get through.”

Birth can grow you.

Birth can transform you.

Birth can make you more gentle, more surrendered, more like Jesus.

Today, I walk with families who want more than just a “medical moment” — families who want their birth to be intentional, Spirit-led, and rooted in truth.

Along with my personal experience, I’ve completed professional doula training and childbirth education studies through Pain Free Birth — a Christ-centered, physiology-rich program that aligns beautifully with the way I view birth and God’s design. Now, I’m currently finalizing my certification which will be completed February 2026. My education has equipped me to understand the physiological design of birth, while my faith leads the way I support families emotionally, spiritually, and practically.

I don’t just help you understand the physical side of birth (although I love teaching all the hormones, physiology, and God’s perfect design).

I also hold space for your emotions, your fears, your prayers, and your faith.

Together, we shift the focus from your strength to Jesus’ strength, from fear to surrender, from cultural norms to trusting in God.

I teach from a Biblical, physiological, Holy Spirit–led perspective.

I pray with my clients.

I equip husbands to take their rightful role as leaders and supporters.

I help mamas feel safe, confident, and genuinely supported.

My goal isn’t to push unmedicated birth. My goal is to help you have a transformational birth — one where you have a supernatural encounter with Jesus and trust the Lord more than you ever have, even if your birth looks different than you imagined.

I dream of a day when physiological birth becomes normal again — not because women are “strong enough,” but because they trust in the power of Jesus Christ.

A day when women go into birth not afraid, but excited and expectant for what God will do.

That’s the heart behind my work — and the heart behind The Fruit of Your Labor.

About TFOYL

The Fruit of Your Labor started with two things happening on the same day that I couldn’t ignore. A friend told me she had dreamed she was in labor and asked me to help her give birth. That same night, I came across a doula certification that actually aligned with my values — something I had wanted to do for years. My husband and I had been praying about what a new direction could look like for me, so the timing felt very clearly from God. It made me feel excited and expectant.

When I signed up, I started wondering what I should call this whole thing. I thought about how, during my own pregnancy, God had me pick an aspect of the fruit of the Spirit to focus on and pray over my labor and delivery — similar to choosing a “word for the year.” It was simple, but it helped me stay grounded and intentional in my prayers.

“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!”

- Galatians 5:22-23

That idea of “The Fruit of Your Labor” immediately felt perfect.

Then I wondered, Have I read that phrase before? Is that in the Bible? I looked it up, and Psalm 128 came up — and in the translation I read, it literally said “the fruit of your labor.” And the passage talked about mothers, children, blessing, and flourishing. It felt like such a clear confirmation.

“How joyful are those who fear the Lord— all who follow his ways! You will enjoy the fruit of your labor. How joyful and prosperous you will be! Your wife will be a fruitful grapevine, flourishing within your home. Your children will be vigorous young olive trees as they sit around your table. That is the Lord’s blessing for those who fear him. May the Lord continually bless you from Zion. May you see Jerusalem prosper as long as you live. May you live to enjoy your grandchildren. May Israel have peace!”

- Psalm 128

I honestly thought this name was too good to be true and assumed it had to be taken already. So I searched the name on Instagram and online, expecting someone to have used it. But nobody had — which made it feel even more like a God thing… and that is how The Fruit of Your Labor was born!

The Fruit of Your Labor is a place where I get to pour out the ideas and passions God has given me. It's my little passion project!

I love learning about pregnancy and birth, and I love supporting mamas with the things God has taught me along the way.

My hope is to build a community where mamas can learn, share their birth stories, pray for one another, release fear, and simply fellowship with women walking through the same season of life.

I’m so thankful you’re here, and I hope you follow along for the journey.
